Extension of “RV Gunnerus” (Norges Teknisk Naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU), Innkjøp)
RV Gunnerus is NTNU’s own research vessel. The vessel was built at Larsnes Mek. Verksted AS in 2004. In 2012, the vessel’s conventional propeller and rudder were replaced by rotating thrusters in the nozzle with permanent magnet electric motor. The rebuilding resulted in an increase in the ships weight and an increase in aft weight.
