2021-12-16County road 450 Voilen - Lauvåsen, avalanche protection (Vestfold og Telemark Fylkeskommune)
Avalanche protection project consisting of 3 sub-stretches along county road 450 in Vestfold og Telemark County and Agder County.
A new road that is established on a filling water will be constructed at Voilen and Ullsteinane. This will free up room for the construction of mounds/walls that will prevent avalanches reaching the new road.
Matter for the road filling in water at Voilen and Ullsteinane will be taken from Lauvåsen.
The current road by Lauvåsen will retain its current form and location.
