The expansion includes approx. 216 rooms, including restaurants and conference facilities for approx. 700-1 000 persons. The total area is approx.12 000 m. Due to the reconstruction in the interfaces between the new and old building, including the reconstruction of a new canteen kitchen to a new exercising room, adaptations in the adjacent driving culvert for load bearing of the room wing girders and accompanying emergency exit system, necessary upgrading of the technical infrastructure's capacities.

A new patients’ hotel shall be constructed. The patients’ hotel shall i.a. contain 206 hotel rooms, of which 22 rooms are maternity hotel, vestibule with reception, meeting room facilities, kitchen, restaurant, etc. The hotel shall be constructed as high rise. The building shall have connection /”wide bridge connection” one floor above ground level to the existing hospital. The main access to the hotel shall go through the vestibule of the hospital.
