As an unit replacement for physical hard drive on DEC PDP11 systems, the NDLO wants to procure six - 6 hard drive emulators for direct plug-in replacement.
The emulatur must be 100 % compatible with either DEC RD32 or RD54 hard drive fitted with MFM ST506 interface. Electrical- and physical spesifications must be similar to the physical units mentioned above.
Reliability must be significantly better than on a physical disk.
