The Company Vestfjorden Avløpsselskap (VEAS) has a sewage disposal plant located close to Slemmestad in Asker in the Oslo area. The plant was finished in 1982. The plant includes a sewage pump station with 8 pumps inside a separate cavern and a vertical excavated shaft leading the pressure pipes up to a level approximately 20 meters above.
