Flakstad municipality would like to enter into a framework agreement for winter maintenance on municipal roads. Winter maintenance is of great importance for the municipality's inhabitants and it is a prerequisite for the performance of important municipal services. Winter maintenance includes snow clearing, gritting, set-up of snow sticks etc. assignments that naturally come under winter maintenance on municipal roads.

The aim of the procurement is to enter into one or more contracts for the 2026/2027 winter seasons up to and including 2029/2030, with an option for an extension for up to two periods of one year. The contract(s) shall contribute to ensuring: • predictable and quality-wise good winter operation• safe accessibility and high traffic safety• good stand-by throughout the winter operations period• efficient organisation of winter operations • sustainable resource utilisation and reduced unnecessary transport• good competition between suppliers • environmentally good and future orientated systemsFlakstad municipality wants a contract that stimulates robust, efficient and feasible operational systems. Through good stand-by, efficient organisation and sustainable resource utilisation, the contract shall contribute to safe, secure and cost efficient winter maintenance.
