The purpose of the procurement is to enter into a purchasing agreement for various types of ultrasound devices for the new hospital in Nordmøre and Romsdal (SNR).
In each individual lot, there will be 20 respective ultrasound devices (except for URO where 10 devices are options) with all accompanying probes as options during a period of 3 years, applicable to all hospitals in the Central Norway Regional Health Authority [Helse Midt-Norge].
Tender offers for each lot must include probes adapted for the described scope of use. When options are triggered, it will be possible to change the type of probes and the number based on need. Prices for all probes must therefore be stated in Annex Part II C.3B - Price Form under point 1.3 Option.
The latest generation ultrasound devices must be offered (not out-of-date models)

3 ultrasound devices will be procured for use in connection with anaesthesiological procedures. The device must cover the scope of use for central and peripheral venipuncture for adults, children and infants, for arterial puncture. The device must have a possibility for Doppler functionality and colour Doppler and must cover the scope of use of nerve blocks, including small peripheral nerves, central nerves and spinal and epidural anaesthesia for all age groups.

2 ultrasound devices will be procured for the urological outpatient clinic, one of which will have additional functionality as described below. This lot will be awarded to one and the same tenderer due to the same personnel using both types of devices.

In addition, an option will be added for 10 accompanying devices with all available probes over a period of 3 years, applicable to all hospitals in the Central Norway Regional Health Authority [Helse Midt-Norge].
The offered devices must include the following probes:
- 1 probe for examining the kidneys/bladder
1 probe for examining the genitalia externa
- 1 probe for imaging of the prostate along the 2nd plane and visualisation of biopsy needles.
The estimated value of the described lot, including 10 options, will be between
NOK 2,800,000 – NOK 24,000,000.

- intervention as with injection treatment of superficial and deep muscles

The ultrasound devices will be used to examine:

- "Small parts" such as the thyroid or scrotum, for example

- General exams of small children
- Examinations of pre-cerebral arteries, arteries in the abdomen and extremities
- Contrast exams
- Share-wave elastrography
- Intervention; ascites and pleural drainage, abscess drainage

1 ultrasound device will be procured for the section for orthopaedic doctors. The device must cover the scope of use of mapping functions on tendons in the hand, elbow, shoulder and lower extremities. Doppler functionality. Exams of the hips in children un 6 mos. of age. Exams of various joints and muscles. Guided injection of therapeutic substances in white tissues.
