In accordance with the Specialist Health Services Act § 2-1a, Helse Vest RHF [the Western Norway Regional Health Authority] shall ensure that patients belonging to Health Region West are offered specialist health services. These services are provided partly through our own health trusts, and partly through contracts with private providers of specialist health services. The request for tenders therefore primarily applies to patients belonging to Health Region West. It is therefore required that the services are provided in the Health Region West. Tenders with a different service location will be rejected.

In accordance with the Specialist Health Services Act § 2-1a, Helse Vest RHF shall ensure that patients resilende in the Health Region West are offered specialist health services. These services are provided partly through separate health companies and partly through contracts with private providers of specialist health services. Primarily patients resilring in the Western Health Region are included. The services are therefore required to be carried out within Helseregion Vest. Helse Vest RHF has entered into agreements for the delivery of specialised rehabilitation services from private suppliers in order to improve the population ́s access to these services in the region.
