The contract concerns the delivery of plumbing installations for the research activities at SINTEF Ocean's new building, referred to as M-LAB at Torgardsvegen 12. The building mainly consists of laboratory cubicles for testing ship engines and fuel and technical rooms for support systems for the laboratories. Overall scope of this contract: - Heating plants (district heating, energy supply, process ventilation) - Refrigeration systems, engine laboratories (complete cooling circuit for engines and electric brake) - Refrigeration systems, electrotechnical rooms (Power electronics and Battery tests) - Compressed air systems (pipe distribution plants for process air, starting air and working air) - Commissioning, functional testing and test run - Documentation NS 8405 shall be used. Based on this description a fixed price shall be given for the assignment, a unit price list with pipe quantities, capacity and function tables and system forms/drawings/model shall also be presented.

The contract concerns the delivery of plumbing engineering installations for the research activities at SINTEF Ocean's new building, referred to as M-LAB, at Torgardsvegen 12B. The building mainly consists of laboratory cubicles for testing ship engines and fuel and technical rooms for support systems for the laboratories. Overall scope of this contract: - Heating plants (district heating, energy supply, process ventilation) - Refrigeration systems, engine laboratories (complete cooling circuit for engines and electric brake) - Refrigeration systems, electrotechnical rooms (Power electronics and Battery tests) - Compressed air systems (pipe distribution plants for process air, starting air and working air) - Commissioning, functional testing and test run - Documentation: The assignment includes all necessary equipment and goods for pipe suspensions/supporters needed for a complete contract. Necessary aeration and drainage systems shall be included. Tenderers are asked to study the conditions that are of significance on how the installations are built up, installation of equipment, pipe lengths, etc. Even if parts of the system's components are dealt with in this specification, it does not exempt the tenderer from including necessary components to achieve the described functions. The installation shall be planned in close dialogue and cooperation with SINTEF Ocean's representatives. The engineering design related to the delivery is expected to be carried out by the contracting authority. There will be things that have to be solved and adapted at the construction site. Documentation must be prepared for the as-built documentation and MOM documentation. The tenderer shall contribute to the preparation of documentation for structural auxiliary work as well as instruct in where to make holes, sealing etc. NS 8405 shall form the basis for the contract.
