The contracting authority has engaged Sykehusbygg HF to safeguard the project management of the project.
The contract will be executed as an integrated project delivery (IPL) with a 3rd-party contract between the builders, IPL contractors and IPL consultants. This procurement concerns IPL consultancy.

The goals of the procurement are:

- connect with an IPL consultant that will enter into a combined IPL organisation

- connect with resources that, based on their specific knowledge and experience, have the best provisions to meet the unique needs and goals of the project.

- clarify the financial provisions for the tenderer to assist the contracting authority with its assignments, including mark-ups.

IPL is a relatively new execution model in Norway. The aim of the model is to solve challenges in the current building and construction projects, particularly in relation to fragmentation and silo mentality. See also the attached tender documentation.

The assignment consists of planning and realising constructional work for SPH by carrying out an interaction phase (project development/phase 1) and then the detailed engineering design services and construction (execution phase/phase 2). The expected scope of the work at the time of announcement of this contest is described in Annex A2 Description of Scope.

The procurement includes several options, including The builder has the right to exercise options to continue the contract with new IPL partners, as well as alternative implementation models.
