The overall aim of this procurement is to provide the statutory offer for housing asylum seekers. Arrivals of new asylum seekers in Norway vary significantly over time. The need for housing asylum seekers is unpredictable, both due to variable arrivals and to how long it takes to process asylum applications. In order to cover this varying need for housing capacity, UDI would like to enter into regional contracts for running reception centres. The contracts will give UDI access to a considerable number of reception places (between 500 and 1500 places per region, depending on the need on the date of the award of contract). The procurement will be made in accordance with part IV of the Public Procurement Regulations. Note that the contracting authority reserves the right to award the contract without holding negotiations. Click https://permalink.mercell.com/201099687.aspx.
