Gloppen municipality intends to enter into a framework agreement for the purchase of new furniture for residential buildings. The agreement will mainly be used by the Refugee Service in connection with the housing of new refugees, but can also be used by the entire organisation. In the budgeting work, the municipality is obliged to prepare residential housing for new residents. This means that the Refugee Service awards residential housing and furnishes them in accordance with a given standard. In each individual case, the Refugee Service will assess whether it is possible to use used furniture that is either owned by the municipality or reused in other ways. Used furniture/reuse is not included in this tender contest. The procurement concerns the purchase, delivery and assembly of new furniture.

The procurement concerns the purchase, delivery and assembly of new furniture.
The contract value can have major variations from year to year, as this will depend on how many refugees are housed each year, and how many residences must be prepared based on the composition of the group. In a normal year, between 20 and 50 refugees are bussed into Gloppen municipality.

The value of the agreement is expected to be between NOK 1,500,000 and NOK 2,500,000 for the entire agreement period, including the option period. It is emphasised that the stated volume is based on estimates from our financial data, as well as expectations about future needs. The estimated value is for information purposes only, and the contracting authority has no obligation to purchase a specific volume under the agreement. The volume may vary due to changes in economic constraints, political decisions and the market conditions in general.

The duration of the agreement is 2 years with a unilateral right for the contracting authority to extend the contract for a further 2 years, one year at a time.
