There is currently a waste suction installation at Fornebu with 2 terminals (terminal 1 and terminal 2) and some kilometres with pipes. Work on this started in 2006 and it has been in operation since then. The waste suction installations at Fornebu are currently operated by an external supplier. Terminal 2 will be moved and the capacity will be doubled. In addition the municipality is constructing a waste suction installation in the centre of Sandvia, which is scheduled to be completed and commissioned at the end of 2024.
The Waste and Recycling Service is now announcing a contest for a new framework agreement for consultancy services and engineering design services for new and existing waste suction installations at Fornebu.
A framework agreement will be signed with a focus on engineering design services for new waste suction installations (primarily connected to terminal 2) at Fornebu and consultancy services. See the contest's assignment description for further information.
