The contract includes engineering design service for the protection assignment and price estimation. The assignment also includes an option for execution of necessary ground surveys. The option is mutual, and both parties shall agree on the execution of the option.
The estimated contract value including option is from approx. NOK 500,000 excluding VAT to NOK 1,800,000 excluding VAT. The estimated value of the engineering design and price estimation is from approx. NOK 500,000 excluding VAT to NOK 1,500,000 excluding VAT. The estimated total value of the option is from approx. NOK 100,000 excluding VAT to NOK 300,000 excluding VAT.
The total duration for the assignment, including the option, is 1 to 3 months. The final deadline for the assignment is 1 December 2023.

The Ministry of Climate and Environment (the Contracting Authority) needs to protect the upper and very shallow mining tunnels under listed buildings in Øvre Storwartz. This involves permanent protection of the landslide that went in 2018 by Stigerstuggu in Øvre Storwartz. The rock fall is a further development of an open-air rock fall from the 1950s.

Relevant assignments are in this context defined as the design of protection measures for landslides, mines, or similar protection assignments. Tenderers are responsible for ensuring that the description is of such a nature that it verifies that the requirement has been met.
