Stavanger kommune

Stavanger municipality, Sandnes municipality and Sola municipalities, hereafter also called the Contracting Authority, invite tenderers to a competition for a framework agreement for the provision of complete services with material within locks and fittings, as well as other goods and services that naturally fall under the locksmith business. The contracting authority is not a legal entity. The municipalities use joint tender documentation, but will enter into separate contracts with the winning contractor and shall be considered as three separate contracting authorities with different delivery and invoicing addresses. Stavanger municipality has the secretariat function for this competition and will see to all contact with suppliers on behalf of the municipalities until a contract is signed.

Hovedtrekk ved prosedyren:
The lock work involves assisting the contracting authority with replacing, repairing or maintenance work on the Contracting Authority's buildings regarding lockboxes, lock systems and door automation, as well as other assignments that naturally fall under lock work. The material acquisition mainly applies to keys, locks and fittings, as well as parts and equipment for lock systems for securing and controlling windows, doors and gates, etc., in addition the agreement shall cover disability systems and electronic lock systems such as key systems with electronic keys, lock boxes with code panel or chip/card reader or fingerprint reader. In some cases also "stand alone" card readers. Tenderers shall also provide the Contracting Authority with updated information on what are available of good product systems and be able to offer the latest technology within the framework agreement ́s area. The contracting authority ́s own operational personnel reserve the right to carry out locks and fitting work and can use the procurement of materials on the terms set in this contract. When investments in new buildings and major alterations, renovation or maintenance projects on existing buildings, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to hold a competition separately for each project.
