Description of the sub-contract
Dry waste includes all other waste fractions than that included in wet waste, both hazardous and harmless waste. This includes, among other things, typical waste that is delivered in containers, but also, among other things, paint, food waste and oil filters.
Reception is based on orders from ships or agents to Harstad Port. The ships that call in normally shall send in orders at least 24 hours before port of call. Orders can come under 24 hours if unplanned calls to Harstad Havn's quays are taken up. If the registration form describes a delivery of more than 1 m3 (cubic), the contracting authority orders service with the tenderer based on the registration form.

Description of the sub-contract
Wet waste includes liquid hazardous waste from tanks on board ships. I.e. all services where there will be a need for sludge suction. These include, for example, sludge/sewage, waste oil and process water. Smaller amounts of wet waste from containers and barrels can also occur, so tenderers must consider whether it will be relevant to use other vehicles for collection.
Reception is based on orders from ships or agents to Harstad Port. The ships that call in normally shall send in orders at least 24 hours before port of call. Orders can come under 24 hours if unplanned calls to Harstad Havn's quays are taken up. The tenderer will assess which equipment is needed in relation to the stated waste type and the amount from the order. The tenderer handles documentation of hazardous waste in relation to the relevant authorities. The service will be delivered directly to the quay to the ship, unless otherwise specified.
