The contracting authority invites tenderers to this contest for a contract for the alteration of port vessels belonging to Båtsfjord Havn, a work vessel from 1989 of 14.9 metres, for hybrid propulsion. The purpose of the alterations is to extend the service life of the vessel, reduce emissions, and facilitate noise-free operation at sea, all of which will provide a better city environment and better working conditions for those who operate the vessels. The alteration shall be carried out in 2024. The contracting authority has a budget of NOK 7,500,000.

- Complete replacement of the existing propulsion system to hybrid propulsion, including but not limited to batteries, electric motor, control system, charging system, auxiliary engine (new internal combustion engine), gears, axle, propeller, integration with existing bow propeller, new adapted fire extinguishing system, etc.

- Complete replacement of the existing hydraulic pump to an electric hydraulic pump

- New heating system that can be operated on batteries

- Upgrade of the lighting to LED lighting

- Sandblasting and priming of hulls

- New windows with heat in wheelhouses

- New pinstriping

- Approval of the altered vessels in accordance with relevant requirements

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:

The company must be legally registered.

For Norwegian tenderers: Company registration certificate

Foreign companies: Verification that the tenderer is registered in a company register, professional register or a commerce register in the country where the tenderer is established.

Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:

Tenderers must have orderly conditions with regard to payment of tax, employer's national insurance contributions and VAT.

Tenderers must have sufficient economic and financial capacity to fulfil the contract. Creditworthiness with no requirement for guarantees will be sufficient to meet the requirement.

Minste nivå(er) av standarder:

For Norwegian tenderers: Tax Certificate, not older than six months from the application deadline.

Foreign tenderers must submit equivalent certificates from their own country that show that they have an arrangement for the payment of taxes and duties.

If the authorities in the relevant country do not issue such certificates, the tenderer should submit a declaration stating that all taxes and duties have been paid. The statement must be approved and signed by the tenderer's Financial Director/person responsible for finance.

The tenderer's annual financial statements including notes with the Board's and auditor's reports from the last 3 accounting years.

Tenderers who plan to use subcontractors that individually make up more than 10% of the tender sum must enclose equivalent documentation from the relevant companies.

The contracting authority itself can obtain further documentation and assessments on the company´s financial situation and use this in the qualification evaluation.

Financial strength is evaluated in relation to turnover, operating profit margin, solidity and liquidity.

Tenderers shall have relevant experience.

Relevant experience means deliveries of a similar size and complexity to what is requested in this competition.

A quality assurance/management system that is sufficient to fulfil the contract

Tenderers must have a documented environmental management system

Tenderers must have the capacity to carry out the alteration in 2024

Minste nivå(er) av standarder:

Reference descriptions of up to 3 of the most relevant assignments that the tenderer (including subcontractors) has carried out in the last 3 years. The description must include the contracting authority (name, telephone and e-mail), time and indication of the value of the assignment. It is the tenderer's responsibility to confirm relevance through the description.
