Through agreements, the joint ownership has coordinated ownership and acts as a coordinated owner block, with joint voting at the company's General Assembly. In order to contribute to good ownership management in Å Energi, the working committee for the coordinated shareholders would like to join up with a strategic adviser.

Hovedtrekk ved prosedyren:
The co-ordinated shareholders organise their ownership through owner meetings, a working committee (AU) and a secretariat. The municipal directors in the 45 municipalities have the right to meet and speak in owner meetings. In addition the secretariat normally holds half yearly gatherings for the municipal directors in order to facilitate the necessary case handling in the municipalities in accordance with good public administration practice. The co-ordinated shareholders in Å Energi have, as an owner partnership, agreed rights. The partnership appoints, for example, six out of eight shareholder-elected directors in Å Energi and define the company's dividend policy. In order to be predictable owners in Å Energi, the coordinated shareholders have a joint ownership strategy. This is normally rolled every four years and adopted in all municipal councils in the coordinated joint ownership. Work processes related to ownership strategies, choice of boards, dividend policies etc., help the many interested parties in the joint ownership keep themselves updated in an ownership that is both deeply historically rooted and of great financial value. Å Energi is the leading power group in Norway with activities in the entire value chain, from production to a final customer. The company was formed after the merger between the former Agder Energi and Glitre Energi in 2022. The co-ordinated shareholder community therefore consists of owners from western Agder to the east in Buskerud and Akershus. Common to all is that the owner items in Å Energi are of great financial value, but in addition a number of municipalities will also host the company's activities and investments. The energy sector is also a significant political field, and both the company and its owners are closely monitored by the media and the surroundings. Strategic ownership review work and advice for rolling out ownership strategies, dividend policy, cases that are coordinated with the company's general assembly and case complexes that are reviewed at the request of the owner meeting. Participation in the labour committee and the municipal executive committee ́s meetings, owner meetings and gatherings for municipal directors as needed. Contribute presentations in owner meetings and any other relevant forums to order from the working committee. The consultant will be a part of a work team with the secretariat.
