Hovedtrekk ved prosedyren:

The equipment shall be placed in the Section for doctor and drug and alcohol analyses at the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Pharmacology and used in the development of new methods and routine analyses. Primary use is sample preparation for spit analyses (up to 30,000 samples per annum) and kiral analysis of amphetamines in spit and urine (up to 4,000 samples per annum). The sample taking equipment that is used for spit samples is Abbott Quantisal. Initially the equipment will be used for fluid-fluid extraction (LLE). In the long term, it is desirable to change to protein precipitation such as sample preparation. The equipment must be suitable for this. Future use may also include drug and alcohol analyses in urine, in this case sample preparation with enzymatic hydrolysis and subsequent dilution will be used. The division also carries out research analyses in different sample matrixes (urine, spit, serum, plasma, whole blood, tissue and ventricle aspirate) with human and animal origin. It may be necessary to use the equipment for this purpose as well. The contract includes options for 2 equivalent instruments, service agreements, additional equipment etc., as well as training of users and medical-technical personnel. At the same time a framework agreement shall be signed for equipment dependant consumables. The agreement shall be valid for the entire lifetime of the equipment.
