The annual need is estimated to be approx. 605 litres of horse blood and approx. 490 litres of sheep's blood. In addition there can be small consumption of rabbit blood, estimated to approx. 200 millilitres per annum. Oslo Universitetssykehus HF, Akershus universitetssykehus HF and Sykehuset Østfold HF will be the primary customers for the contract, which includes Sub-contract 1 Animal Blood. The stated consumption/extent is an estimate for information to the tenderer and is not binding for the future contract volume. Increased need can occur with a general increase in the number of samples due to population development and increased requisition of samples or similar. Such conditions are expected to increase the need by 25%, and the procurement ́s maximum extent is therefore equal to the value of the estimated amount stated price form plus 25 %.
