The framework agreement will be announced for 5 years due to
requirements for security clearance and an expected long clearance period in
the start-up phase at the Norwegian Defence Security Department for the personnel who are not
security cleared and possibly tenderers who do not have supplier clearance.
The users of the framework agreement need security and stability in
implementation of the contract, and it involves security cleared personnel who can
carry out the work in a real four year period. The choice of duration is purified in the regulation on
public procurements § 26-1 fourth section.
