The Norwegian Food Safety Authority shall procure cleaning services for all of its office premises nationally in Norway, with the exception of the office locations where cleaning is either included in the existing rent contract with the house owner or where own employees provide cleaning. Tenderers shall also deliver sanitary articles, cleaning articles and mats (where relevant). The tender contest is divided into 5 sub-contracts based on a geographical division of the office locations. The Norwegian Food Safety Authority prefers suppliers who have coverage for all the office locations in each sub-contract, but know from previous competitions that this can be challenging. Individual office locations that are difficult to access for suppliers will be assessed for direct procurements locally where the office location is located. The cleaning shall be delivered in accordance with the NS-INSTA 800 standard for cleaning and cleaning quality. The agreement includes regular cleaning and periodical cleaning. Please note that the Norwegian Food Safety Authority in several of our premises has special rooms that will require cleaning that may not be adequately covered by the NS-INSTA 800 standard, which must be covered by cleaning order instead. In addition there will be ordered cleaning of floor carpets that shall be carried out in accordance with the carpet manufacturer ́s recommendations and frequency. Attached for each sub-contract are plan drawings and/or room programmes for each office location. There will be times for site inspections at each office where the tenderers must register. Participation in these site inspections is not an absolute requirement, but participation is recommended as this will make it easier to submit tender offers.
