The school procures assistance with YFF (vocational in-depth studies, i.e. practices in ordinary working life in authentic arenas) and practical training. The school is responsible for educational purposes. The practice shall assist the school in carrying out practical training and quantity training. The pupils shall be prepared for apprenticeships and professional life through assistance by participating in practical work connected to the fishing industry. All aspects of the implementation of fisheries and operation of vessels are relevant in this respect. At the start of the school year, schools and shipping companies shall prepare a plan for when and how the assistance shall be implemented. When purchasing assistance with teaching, the pupils ́ learning is the first priority for all activities on board. The pupils shall be given guidance with the aim of improving their practical skills and understanding. There will most often not be teachers on board, but there shall be a plan for what the students shall train for.
