The aim of the procurement is to enter into framework agreements as stand-by for ordering somatic specialist health services for respite patients. The framework agreements shall form the basis for the Contracting Authority - at the notification of breaches of deadline from the relevant health company - to communicate patients to another treatment offer shortly. The contracting authority would therefore like robust and flexible suppliers who can quickly offer health care.

This procurement is for framework agreements (sub-contracts) for the purchase of somatic specialist health services for respite patients. The framework agreements will be valid for 2 years. The contracting authority has a unilateral right to extend the framework agreement for up to 1 year, up to 2 times, so that the total possible contract length is 4 years.

Requirement: Tenderers (the company) shall, during the last four years, have sufficient experience with reviewing and treating patients with the right to necessary health care within public somatic specialist health services in Norway. The experience applies regardless of the discipline. Private companies ́ provision of breach services included in this competition are seen as deliveries in public specialist health services. The same applies to the previously approved private entities in the free treatment choice scheme and private companies that have a contract with RHF/HF.
