The framework agreement will be valid for a total of seven years for triggering all options. In order to provide the services in the contract, tenderers must invest in vehicles that go on biogas or electricity if they do not already have this. These have high procurement costs and a depreciation period that normally exceeds four years. A seven year contract is therefore seen as necessary and proportional in order to ensure real competition and financially justifiable cost coverage for the tenderers.
