The waste management company for drammensregionen IKS (RfD), hereafter called the contracting authority or the Customer, invites tenderers to an open tender contest for a framework agreement for the purchase of work wear and protective equipment. The waste management company for the Drammen region (RfD) is an intermunicipal company owned by five municipalities: Drammen, Lier, Modum, Sigdal and Øvre Eiker. In the five owner municipalities, there are approx. 170,000 inhabitants, 77,000 households and 8,000 holiday homes in the Drammen region. In addition RfD operates six recycling stations and one reloading station. RfD provides a sustainable sanitation service based on source sorting, recycling, waste minimisation and re-use.

The Contracting Authority needs a framework agreement with one tenderer for the delivery of workwear and protective equipment. The procurement has an estimated value of NOK 8 million excluding VAT, with a maximum value of NOK 10 million. Tenderers must reckon on an increased instalment on the framework agreement in 2026 for employment in RfD. The framework agreement has a duration of two years, with an option for a further 1+1 year. The options will be automatically triggered so that the Contracting Authority gives written notification that the option will not be triggered at the latest 3 months before the contract expires.
