Samferdsle and Trafikktryggleik are responsible for operation and maintenance of municipal roads, and G/S roads on parts of County roads.
In total, this applies to approx. 200 km of road, 25 km of pavement, ++ various car parks and other public spaces.
The procurement includes mountain protection on municipal roads and car parks. And other places that Øygarden municipality considers necessary.
The assignment may also include inspection and registration, planning of the various mountain protection tasks on municipal roads and sites. For each assignment, documentation showing the scope of the assignment must be delivered to the client. The mountain protection contractor must also provide information to the public and handle other tasks that are necessary for protection tasks on the section in question.
The procurement mainly includes planned minor security assignments and anticipated assignments.
All work must meet all requirements that follow from current laws and regulations, standards, etc.

In Øygarden there are 17 bridges and 37 quays that the municipality is responsible for. Framework agreement for debt maintenance services for bridges and quays in Øygarden municipality, as well as major renovation work if necessary. The assignment comprises routine operational as well as maintenance of quays and bridges. The assignment also includes inspections and registration, planning of works, stand-by and printing due to operational difficulties or unexpected events on the quays and bridges, documentation, reporting to the builder, information to the public and handling of other contractors that are necessary for operation and maintenance of the quays and bridges. Actual assignments can be: (the list is not exhaustive): Demolition and removal of steel railings and concrete railings on the existing bridges.
Assembly of bridge railings, transitional railings and shock cushion with finals. Register/improve the existing structures with bridge railing work in connection with the expansion of the bridges for railing room. Necessary measures in the road (excavation, masonry, filling, asphalting) in the connection to the bridge work. High pressure washing / sand blowing concrete surfaces. Mechanical repairs of concrete Surface treatment of steel. Replacement of wood, as a part of the supporting construction. The bridge maintenance services will vary and includes i.a. removal of vegetation, concrete repairs, replacement of railings, replacement of water courses, replacement of edge binders (guide edge), membrane work, erosion protection, surface treatment of steel slabs, new bridge stores, new jointing, new grouting works, asphalt works, L-admonished foundations, impregnation of concrete and demolition of a old bridge. Inspections on the bridges and quays in Øygarden municipality will be relevant as a main rule. For the previous assignment, a condition report will be enclosed, which can represent a representative vehicle on the state of the individual construction. Some of the varied assignments must be carried out as maths work. Hourly rates for crews and equipment are therefore a part of the contract. Contract type: Framework agreement with one tenderer
