NB! This is the third publication of a tender contest with the same name. Generally we will make tenderers aware of a significant change in the new notice compared to previous publications. Many questions have been received regarding product samples, and many of the questions are related to the need for large quantities of product samples for inspection. The contracting authority has decided that in a new competition tenderers are not required to deliver product samples for inspections in connection with submitting a tender. An assessment will be taken after a provisional written evaluation of the received persons if further verification is required through the testing. The costs involved in this trial will be covered by the Contracting Authority if clinical trials are to be tried (c.f. The framework agreement will be signed for a basic period of three years, with an option for an extension one year at a time, up to a total duration of maximum six years. Extension beyond the ordinary four year period is justified by the framework agreement ́s particular complexity, including: Comprehensive tender documentation: The contract consists of 18 sub-contracts, which will result in significant use of time for implementation, evaluation and implementation. Continuity of the deliveries: Extension is necessary to ensure stable operation, predictability and maintainance of quality over time. High start-up costs: The agreement requires comprehensive coordination, training and establishing routines between the contracting authority and suppliers. A too short agreement period will give disproportionately high administrative load. Resource use with alternative division: A further fragmentation of the competition would involve increased administrative and operative work, as well as a risk of reduced totality and a lack of coordination in the deliveries.
