Hovedtrekk ved prosedyren:
The contracting authority would like to use the vessel for trawling for wild salmon moles in connection with the monitoring of salmon lice infestation on wild salmon fish in Boknafjorden. Trawling shall be carried out in selected areas of the above mentioned fjord system for a period of four weeks, with daily trawling activity as long as the conditions are right for it. Subject to the necessary authorisation being given to the Contracting Authority, the contract will be valid from the first day (Monday) to the last day (Sunday). In the above mentioned time period and approximately equivalent week periods for the year 2027, if any option for a contract extension is used. The area of the trawling is in the above mentioned surgical area, but specific zones for daily/weekly activity will be decided by a project group in consultation with the expedition manager and captain. The departure port will be in the area of operations as mentioned or as agreed. The vessel and crew must be able to handle salmon trawls with a fish lift system, see drawing trawl rigging, annex 3. At the start of the expedition, the trawl rig (owned by the Contracting Authority) shall be ready mounted, adjusted, tested and ready for use. The delivery place for trawl rigs and equipment is to be agreed with the manager of the vessel. The delivery place must have access for a lorry. Tenderers must use the premises for proper storage of trawling tools in the contract period between each year. The vessel shall initially be used to trawl wild salmon mole, but other sampling in connection with the Contracting Authority's activities may be imposed on the vessel during the hire period, this may apply for outsets of fish in duty cages, water samples, hydrography and live catching wild salmon fish for other trials. Working hours are set at 12 hours a day, but can be stretched to 14 hours on a few days if necessary. Work must also be expected in evenings/nights if appropriate in relation to tides etc. Shipowners must see to board and accommodation on board. Provisions and refreshments will normally occur within daily/weekly working hours. For calculating normal consumption of bunkers per day, it will form the basis of 12 hours work day each 24 hours, divided in estimated use: trawling, with speed 3 knots: 9 hour sampling 0 knots: 1 hour transite 8 knots: 2 hoursNormalt lays the vessel by quay in/at suitable port/location each night. The contracting authority shall have the right to participate with an extra expedition participant/researcher on day expeditions for advice and guidance in the work on counting and reporting the salmon lice occurrence. This applies to both the contracting authority and the shipowner ́s crew who shall carry out the work. There will be 1-2 visits for 1-3 days/day trips per mission as needed. The number of representatives from the contracting authority will be 1-2 persons. Therefore there must be space and safety equipment for at least two research personnel in addition to crew. Bunkers shall be included in the stated 24 hour rate. Cost money shall not be included in the hire amount. Expenses for food/food are not included in the 24 hour price. Cleaning of common areas during the cruise will be carried out by crews. The expedition will be carried out in accordance with the Contracting Authority's plan and management. The captain shall instruct the crew that they shall comply with instructions and carry out the work assignments, including rigging of tools and equipment, which the expedition leader or authorised person can give, as far as it is compatible with the operation of the vessel. It is the captain who is responsible for ensuring that the work on board is carried out in a safe way and is responsible for the safety on board and it is a prerequisite that he and the crew find the work properly to carry out.Due to competition over the Christmas period, questions may only be answered after christmas. The contracting authority reserves the right to postpone the tender deadline if a reasoned request from the tenderer(s) is submitted.
