1 ASSESSMENT Development of software is a service that normally contains elements that only have a marginal impact on climate and the environment, and thus, in its nature, has a climate footprint and an environmental impact that is immaterial. The nature of the procurement is the development of software, where the main service is the tenderer's work efforts. There are no requirements for physical journeys/travel activities between the Contracting Authority and the Tenderer during the contract period. The need that the contracting authority would like covered includes no or little travel activities. A direct climate footprint as a result of the procurement is therefore expected to be of a modest character. However, if the sub-supplier and software producer chains take into consideration, climate footprint and environmental impact can occur in connection with the operation of data centres. For "Secure Print" the scope of data storage is low. The tenderer ́s influence over this energy consumption and the possible environmental impact is, however, very limited and aimlessly for the contracting authority to emphasise or set requirements in the requirement specifications of the above in this procurement. 2 CONCLUSION The contracting authority will, based on its climate and environmental mapping, use the exclusionary provision in the procurement regulations § 7-9 fifth paragraph, as the procurement has a climate footprint and an environmental impact that is immaterial.

1 ASSESSMENT Development of software is a service that normally contains elements that only have a marginal impact on climate and the environment, and thus, in its nature, has a climate footprint and an environmental impact that is immaterial. The nature of the procurement is the development of software, where the main service is the tenderer's work efforts. There are no requirements for physical journeys/travel activities between the Contracting Authority and the Tenderer during the contract period. The need that the contracting authority would like covered includes no or little travel activities. A direct climate footprint as a result of the procurement is therefore expected to be of a modest character. However, if the sub-supplier and software producer chains take into consideration, climate footprint and environmental impact can occur in connection with the operation of data centres. For "Secure Print" the scope of data storage is low. The tenderer ́s influence over this energy consumption and the possible environmental impact is, however, very limited and aimlessly for the contracting authority to emphasise or set requirements in the requirement specifications of the above in this procurement. 2 CONCLUSION The contracting authority will, based on its climate and environmental mapping, use the exclusionary provision in the procurement regulations § 7-9 fifth paragraph, as the procurement has a climate footprint and an environmental impact that is immaterial.
