By setting requirements in the requirement specifications that ensure: • Robust ICT equipment with a long lifetime • Good battery capacity over time • Repair of critical components • Requirements concerning health and environmental damaging substances etc. • Disposal of ICT equipment • Guarantee and insurance, the contracting authority will ensure an assortment that has clearly improved climate and environmental effect, compared to the effect it would have had as an award criteria. Based on this, the contracting authority has assessed that the procurement of PCs in this procurement, through the minimum requirements in the requirement specification, will be ensured a clearly better environmental and climate effect than if one had used climate and environment as the award criteria. The exclusionary provision in the public procurement regulations § 7-9 fourth paragraph of the first period will therefore be used in this procurement.
