In order to avoid negative environmental impact, it is our assessment that requirements ought to be set as a minimum requirement in the competition, as it ensures the lowest possible environmental impact, and as few consumption of cleaning agents as possible. Some minimum requirements exclude cleaning agents that are harmful to health and the environment.
We have considered setting award criteria for transport, but as transport makes up such a small part of the assignment/contract, we consider that it would be disproportionate to weight it 30% as the award criteria. The tenderer is required to use environmentally friendly transport whenever possible.
