Kinn municipality has decided to demolish the existing Florø hospital, as well as Kinnvegen 2, to free the site for the construction of a new institution.
Florø Hospital was in operation until 2008 and has since been empty, with the exception of parts of the basement that are used for the chapel and commercial kitchen. The building was built in three construction stages. Block 1 is the oldest and was built in 1948. Block 2 was built in 1976 and in 1988 was expanded with an addition on the first floor.
Block 1 is 4 and approx. 4,900 m2 and Block 2 is 3 and approx. 3,000 m2.
Kinnvegen 2 is a apartment building from 1962. The area is approx. 500 m2
In this project, the builder has decided to set aside usable construction materials in the following order:
1.Use for the new construction project on the same site. Temporary storage and transport, see the price form (Point 2 in the tender form).
2.De can be enjoyed in another project. Ideally, usable building materials can be removed and transported directly to the other project.
3 Reuse/reuse of the residual demolition mass is the contractor ́s real estate. Kinn municipality refers to the mapping reports that lie with the tender documentation.
