Transport, reception and treatment of hazardous waste

Sirkula IKS

Sirkula needs to enter into a new contract for the service area that includes regular delivery and treatment of hazardous waste. The contract shall ensure a robust and good contract for safeguarding all authority requirements connected to handling hazardous waste. The annual extent including all options is estimated to approx. 860 tonnes. The duration of the service agreement is 3 years + an option for an extension for a further 1+1+1 year. The estimated contract value, including options, is estimated to be between NOK 5 million and NOK 6 million per annum. The estimated value is excluding VAT.

Hovedtrekk ved prosedyren:

The hazardous waste that shall be treated is delivered by the contracting authority to the tenderer ́s disposal, or it shall be collected by the tenderer as an option. Deliveries will occur with a fixed frequency throughout the year. The tenderer is sorted and declared electronically by the contracting authority by using avfallsdeklarering.no.The tenderer is responsible for ensuring certified transport packaging so that the contract waste can be packed in accordance with the regulations and the contracting authority ́s wishes. The contract is for the waste types (substance number) that are included in the tender form (see annex 3). If other waste types are added, this will be limited to what the tenderer is allowed to transport and receive from the infrastructure adapted to the collection and treatment of the waste types specified in the tender documentation. PCB windows, impregnated wood, asbestos and car batteries are not included in the contract

… quality assurance standards.: Can tenderers submit certificates issued by independent bodies that document that the tenderer fulfils the stated quality assurance standards, including universal design requirements? Minimum qualification requirements Tenderers shall have a satisfactory quality management system that is certified in accordance with ISO 9001, or have an equivalent extent, cf. NS-EN ISO 9001, which covers the deliveries included in the contract.
