The requirement will basically be seen as a requirement for weighting the environment under the award criteria in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations § 7-9 as safeguarded through the requirement specifications and the competition documents in general. There are qualification requirements regarding the environmental management system and the contract requirement for environmentally friendly goods and passenger transport. The object of the contract also involves safeguarding the environment itself.
Subsidially, the regulation requirement is fulfilled through the award criteria "Assignment Comprehension" and "Competence and Experience", with a total weight of 70%. These are award criteria that are normally seen as quality criteria, but in this procurement will reward special competence, experience and understanding within relevant environmental measures.
