In Rana municipality, the number of elderly will double until 2050, and the increase has already begun. In 2023, there were, for the first time, more seniors over 65 in the municipality than younger people under the age of 19. This challenges the health and welfare services and sets requirements for both service development and community building. In 2022 the municipality had a thorough analysis of the situation and possible future pictures. This analysis has formed the basis for a strategy for future health and welfare services in the municipality. The Municipal Council has set aside fundings in the financial plan period 2024-27 for appropriate buildings within the care of the elderly who will support the strategy, as well as funds in 2024 for the draft and preliminary project. See the attached performance description for a complete description of the purpose and extent. The estimated value of the procurement is NOK 4,950 hours and the estimated value of the procurement is NOK 542,2500 excluding VAT.

The contract will be regulated through NS 8402. NS 8402: Rana municipality has, in the procurement documents, demonstrated that the sketch project regulates NS 8401. The correct thing is that NS 8402 regulates this procurement. In accordance with NS 8402, pricing will be regulated according to used time.
