The West Norway Regional Health Authority has, in accordance with the Specialist Health Services Act § 2-1 a, responsible for providing specialist health services to the population of the Western Health Region. These services are provided partly through separate health companies and partly through contracts with private providers of specialist health services. Helse Vest RHF would like to enter into a framework agreement for medical laboratory services in pathology with a private provider to improve the population's access to these services in the region.

Control system: Qualification requirement: Tenderers shall have a management system that ensures that the company functions in accordance with the regulations on management and quality improvement in the health and welfare service (FOR-2016-10-28-1250) Documentation requirement: A self-declaration confirming that the requirements in the regulations on management and quality improvement in the health and welfare service are fulfilled, cf. annex 5. Tenderers in the establishment or newly established companies require a realistic plan for the preparation of a complete management system in accordance with the regulations on management and quality improvement in the health and welfare service that will be established by the start of the delivery of the service. Medical responsible medical list: Qualification requirement: Tenderers must have hired medically responsible doctor specialists within the relevant disciplines in accordance with the requirements in the regulations on medical laboratory and x-ray activities § 5.  Documentation requirement: Documentation of the specialist certification is required. Experience: Qualification requirement: Tenderers are required to have experience from services of an equivalent nature and of a certain extent.
