The management development programme shall be piloted with up to 3 coal in 2025. The general framework and content for the programme was approved by the municipal director 27.11.2024. Concretising content and schedules is an ongoing work. The programme will be based on 5*8 week intervals with different themes. Each 8 weeks interval consists of: preparations - an all-day collection with physical attendance - individual development work - reflections in learning groups (physical or digital) - training and use in their own workplace The program is based on the educational model 70 – 20 – 10 (Glenn Ruud, Competence Development that works). After the pilot in 2025, the management development programme shall, according to the plan, be rolled out to all of the municipality's managers over the next few years. The municipality would like to continually improve the management development programme based on evaluations and experiences from the programme. The pilot's first coal starts in March 2025. The management development programme will then be implemented primarily by the municipality ́s own resources. Kristiansand municipality would like guidance and professional sparring for the execution of coal 1 as soon as the framework agreement with the external environment is in place. In further work Kristiansand municipality needs assistance with evaluation and improvement of the programme, as well as planning and partial implementation of coal 2 and 3 in 2025.
