Quality assurance measures: Tenderers are required to have implemented quality assurance measures that ensure management of the supplier chain and traceability systems that enable follow-up compliance with:
• Basic human rights, including:
o No one must be subjected to torture or gruesome, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment (UN's Declaration of Human Rights art. 5)
o Everyone who works has the right to fair and good payment that ensures his family and himself a human-worthy existence, and which, if necessary, be filled in with other social protection (UN's Declaration of Human Rights art. 23.3).
o Everyone has the right to rest and leisure time, including reasonable limiting of work hours and regular holidays with pay. (UN's World Declaration of Human Rights art. 24)
• ILO core conventions:
o ILO convention nos. 138 and 182 (ban on child labour), nos. 29 and 105 (ban on forced labour/slave labour), nos. 100 and 111 (ban on discrimination) and nos. 87 and 98 (organisation freedom and the right to collective negotiations)
• International law rules connected to the delivery in this contract, including relevant UN decisions that are Norway obliged by.
Documentation requirement:
• A description of the system for managing the supplier chain, that the tenderer will use to fulfil the contract. This includes quality assurance measures that enable systematic monitoring of efforts to safeguard basic human rights, ILO core conventions and international law rules connected to the delivery in this contract, including relevant UN decisions that are Norway committed down the supply chain/production process.
• A description of the traceability systems that the tenderer will use to carry out the contract. The description shall state methods and/or systems that enable tracing of production locations and the country of origin that are involved in the supplier chain for the products in this contract.

Documentation requirement: A description that shows that the requirements in the current NS-ISO 14001, EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) or the Eco-Lighthouse scheme for the relevant industry are fulfilled, will also be accepted.
Tenderers can also document their environmental management system with certificates issued by an independent body that shows that the tenderer fulfils the applicable ISO 14001, EMAS or Miljøfyrtårn for the relevant industry.
