Relevant assignments for assistance are energy analyses for buildings, products, transport, industry and business and technology, and cost and impact assessments of measures and means within energy use and energy efficiency. In the future we can need assistance in the form of capacity and competence for energy analyses. This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: Assess technology and cost development for measures and means within energy use and energy efficiency in all sectors and particularly for the building sector. Collect and collate data, statistics and other information about Norwegian buildings, about the transport and industrial sector. Carry out or assist in work with energy analyses and impact assessments connected to all sectors and product groups. Carry out or assist in work with socio-economic analyses connected to energy use in all sectors. Carry out or assist with professional, market and technical assessments of EU rules for energy efficiency, including eco-design and energy labelling.

In the future, NVE can need assistance in the form of capacity and competence for power market analyses. Actual assignments include preparing datasets with prerequisites, running models, analysing model results and contributing to report writing. This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: Carry out or assist in work with power market analyses. Carry out or assist in work with socio-economic analyses. Carry out or assist in preparing scenarios and different datasets for power market models. Assess technology and cost development in the energy sector. Assistance can be required for projects in total and/or assistance with participating in projects that are planned, managed and carried out by NVE.

In the future we can need assistance in the form of capacity and competence for power system and network analyses. This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: Carry out or assist in setting up, quality assure and use of the Norwegian model. Training of NVE ́s analysts in use of PSSE for analyses Preparation of the dimensioning case for load flow analysis to identify capacity limits Prepare dimensioning analyses for the power system. Carry out or assist in work with load flow analyses, outcome analyses, short-circuit analyses and other types of stationary network analyses, quality assure analysis results. Prepare method documentation for power system analysis. Use of PSSE files for a web model in the power market model tool Samnett. Tenderers must have separate licences for PSSE and use this regularly in a separate professional environment for power system analyses.
