Norad will need the following types of consultancy services related to Area B:
General deliveries:
– Development of technical and analytical programme related documents such as studies, briefs, concept notes and reviews
- Systematic review of knowledge/research
– Appraisal of project proposals from partners including multilateral agencies, INGOs and NGOs, including assessments of results framework and budgets,
- Desk reviews with sound analysis of programmes and initiatives and activities of other actors including multilateral agencies, NGOs and private sector.
– Midterm and final reviews, and evaluations of projects and programmes
– Rapid evidence assessments
Background documents for health and SRHR policy development as well as developing technical reports for regional and global use.
– Assist in preparation of briefs and documents relevant to international meetings, UN negotiations etc.,
- Assistance in production of digital materials
– Other consultancy services related to the areas.
Technical advice regarding country programme implementation including:
- Provide technical advice for country programming processes
– Develop/review country-and project specific results frameworks,
Review and assessment of health and other sector plans.
Review and assessment financial reports, budgets and value for money related to health.
- Development/review of country specific concept notes and briefs.
Reporting on results relevant for Norwegian global health and SRHR efforts:
– Reporting on results from county specific programs and initiatives
– Develop methods on how to measure aggregated results on the
– Consolidation of information from different initiatives into aggregated reporting on results,
– Development of information summaries, briefs and updates on global health processes,
Contribute to reporting on Norwegian strategies and white papers
The above-mentioned tasks may include fieldwork and desk studies. The assignments will require reporting either in English or Norwegian, Norad will inform about it in each call-off.
