Electrical work heavy current with accompanying materials - framework agreement

GKI Grenlandskommunenes Innkjøpsenhet

Grenlandskommunenes Innkjøpsenhet (GKI) intends to enter into a framework agreement for electrical work with the accompanying materials - heavy current for Bamble, Kragerø, Porsgrunn, Siljan and Skien municipalities. This document gives brief information on areas that shall be covered. See the requirement specifications for each municipality in chapters 3-7 for further details on the delivery. Tenderers can choose which municipalities to submit a tender for. Municipal and intermunicipal companies and other participants in GKI will have an option for the contract. A framework agreement shall be signed for 1 year. The contracting authority shall have the option to extend the framework agreement for up to a further 1+1+1 year.

Documented competence is also wanted among the offered personnel at: • KNX/installation shed. • industrial installations/automated installations. • Housing installations • Internal control •Thermography • UPS/emergency power supply. All those who shall carry out work in the municipality shall have a certificate of apprenticeship and shall follow the Regulations on electrical companies and qualification requirements for work connected to electrical installations and electrical equipment. This means that apprentices always be followed-up by a professional. Tenderers and any sub-suppliers shall be affiliated to an apprenticeship scheme or other practice schemes in accordance with the Education Act, and the apprentice(s) shall participate in the work with fulfilment of this contract. (See also chapter 7.9 point 8). All work shall be carried out in accordance with the Act on inspections of electrical installations and electrical equipment with accompanying regulations. All materials and services that are provided shall comply with public orders, regulations and product requirements. Tenderers shall offer high quality materials that are adapted to Nordic conditions and that fulfil the Regulations on electrical equipment. The material shall be CE marked.
