Generally
The assignments shall include consultancy and adjoining roles in connection with alteration and maintenance assignments, as well as new establishments and include the services that are necessary for efficient and adequate engineering design services. The services shall preferably consist of a description (requirement specification) and drawings, and unless otherwise agreed, do not include elements that belong in the tender documentation or contract.

Typical assignment services can be:
The preparation of technical requirement specifications suitable for public procurements, i.e. manufacturer/supplier neutral description and drawings (preparation of the tender documentation and notice will be carried out by NMBU ́s procurement section).
Engineering
Energy calculations in accordance with the respective disciplines (NMBU selects the discipline if needed).
LCC Calculations
Cost calculations
Follow-up during the construction period
Re-mapping during alterations.
Site inspection
Contribute to the tender evaluation.
Participation in meetings and site inspections is included in the service.
The Consultant's Functions
The following functions shall generally be taken care of:

Sub-suppliers (UL):
Tenderers can fulfil parts of the contract with sub-suppliers e.g. for the delivery of particularly specially qualified services/roles/competence. If this applies to disciplines/roles specified in this point, these sub-contractors (companies) shall be named under point 2.2.5 and documentation shall be enclosed in accordance with the rules in this point. For other unspecified competence that naturally falls within the disciplines, this can be offered if needed when carrying out the contract.
Tenderers cannot, at any time, have more than one chain of UL under them.
Limitations to other agreements:
NMBU has separate contracts with suppliers of specialised consultancy services electro, which carry out assignments on a smaller scale for NMBU ́s electrical department and technical operations department.
This can typically be; statutory courses electro/operational personnel, follow-up of the construction site, internal control, MOM collection, expert electrical control, calculations for internal electrical professionals, preparation of electric board specifications special installations.
Other limitations:
NMBU reserves the right to deviate from the framework agreement for individual projects that require special competence or projects of special complexity. This can be distinctive assignments where tenderers lack relevant competence and/or capacity.
NMBU reserves the right to announce separate competitions for major contracts and long term assignments.
Companies that are awarded this sub-contract cannot be awarded sub-contract B simultaneously.
