Hovedtrekk ved prosedyren:
The Institute of Marine Research, c/o the Institute's shipping department, has found some damage to the hull in the ice belt amidships. These are point imprints occurring during ice wrapping. Fixed price assignment DRNV, who is the first person in charge of the class company, has issued executive orders to rectify the damage before the ship can sail in heavy ice. The vessel has many assignments in heavy ice from the summer, so it is urgent to have the damage repaired. See the attached report from the DNV and the vessel ́s report. Annex 4 "Survey statement DNV" and Annex 5 "The Crew's Inspection of Damages". Annex 6 "job description fixed price and option" page 16-19. The staff staff requests a fixed price for the repairs described in the description. OptionWhen equivalent damage has been found and repaired previously, a proposal for reinforcements in the area has been prepared. When it comes to the reinforcement work, it is estimated that the reinforcement shall give approx. 30% higher strength in the reinforced area. The work will be subject to uncertainty as to how much such a reinforcement will help, and will therefore assess whether the reinforcement work shall be carried out when the price and time need for this work is known. Annex 6 "job description fixed price and option" pages 20 and 21. Annex 7 "Reinforcements hull Kongsberg" and 8 «Iskrompen_forslag.dwg". Fixed priceDfore, we would like a fixed price for this work with and without reinforcement, annex 9 "competition form", to be filled in, tab "repair" and tab "repair and reinforcement". Price time and materialsIt may be that there are more damage than those found during the tank inspection. Extra works must be taken on time and materials pricing, but it is important that the workshop has the capacity to take at least 20% extra work by the offered time of the repair work. Furthermore, there will be a need for some other service and repair work on the vessel during the workshop stay, which the contracting authority will have an option to have carried out by the shipyard, these will be taken on time and material pricing. After the contract has been signed, the shipyard must be able to give a budget price for the work before it is decided implemented. It is important that no work is implemented that can affect the ship ́s total time in the workshop, without further agreement. See annex 10 "yard jobs" Other work on board During the workshop stay, the contracting authority ́s own crew will carry out some regular maintenance work. The scheduled crew also wishes to receive service personnel for inspections of special equipment on board. This will organise the place of work itself, but the workshop must be able to provide access to these persons. Time for docking The vessel has one dense expedition programme in 2024. Repairing these damages is very unfavourable for the users of the vessel. Time for the repairs is, therefore, one important element in the workload selection for the work and distance from Tromsø. Length of docking and the workThe workshop must state the offered date for docking and docking for the tender, with only repairs and for the offer with repairs and reinforcements. It will be an advantage if the number of days is as low as possible. The workshop must calculate the actual time for the work and have the capacity to take at least 20% extra work within the offered time of the repair work. To ensure that the actual length is stated, the minimum amount is for day fines for delays in the contract § 12 to NOK 30,000,-. If the contracting authority orders additional works beyond 20% of the fixed price, and this requires a further docking day, the docking hire is paid as stated in the tender. Practical information about dockingWhen it comes to connecting fresh water/cooling water and drinking water, the vessel uses NOR connection no. 1 for the fire system on board. Two such items will be prepared for the case of fire, preferably with spreading. The fire system can also be used for cooling when the vessel is dry. Fresh water stock on board will normally be minimal when docking the vessel. This is with a view to having the lightest possible vessel when docking. Fresh water must, therefore, either be filled often or have a permanently connected pressure from shore (5 bar). If there is water on the seawater ballast tank 40 BB, these can be used for cooling water. If instead a tenderer has the option to deliver seawater to cooling water 24/7, this is preferable. The vessel has an on-shore power system that can receive 400V and 440 V voltage, both with 50 or 60 Hz. Capacity on board is 800A and cupboards are placed in a bunker station just below the fleet starboard side of deck 3. The room has a door and an execution hatch for cables facing shore. There are 6 cables with a length of approx. 50 metres and with cable shoes for installation against the land station. The preferred side is starboard, in order to avoid cables through the hangar.
