Trondheim bydrift wants to enter into framework agreement for the delivery of liquid carbon dioxide to Vikelvdalen water treatment facility (VIVA) in Trondheim municipality. The objective of the procurement is to ensure the delivery of CO2 for water treatment plants in Trondheim municipality. Liquid carbon dioxide is an important part of the water treatment process for the production of drinking water. The procurement includes the delivery of liquid carbon dioxide including the hire of a tank with evaporator, monitoring carbon dioxide levels in the tank and maintenance of leased equipment.
The framework agreement with the tenderer will be valid from 01.03.2024-28.02.2027 with an option for 12+12+12+12+12 month extension on unchanged terms. The option can be taken up for a shorter time than 12 months, with a minimum time of three months. The option gives the contracting authority a unilateral right to extend the contract. The option shall be automatically taken up, unless notice of termination has been sent to the tenderer at the latest three months before the contract expires. The maximum contract period is 8 years. If the contract ́s maximum value is reached before the above, the Contracting Authority can terminate the agreement when the maximum value of the agreement has been reached. The maximum value of the agreement is given in the tender documentation.

Tenderers shall have a rating of minimum class A (AN for newly established companies), in accordance with bisnode AAA rating system, or equivalent. Documentation requirement: Credit evaluation/rating, not older than six months, and which is based on the last known accounting figures. The rating shall be carried out by a credit rating institution and in accordance with the current laws and regulations. If the tenderer has a justifiable reason for not submitting the documentation that the contracting authority has required, he can document his economic and financial position by presenting, for example, a declaration from a financial institution about surety.
Newly established companies: Newly established companies that have not built up a basis for credit rating must enclose a declaration from a bank or similar financing institution regarding the company's financial and economic position.
