This procurement concerns the delivery of veterinary duty services in the duty district Averøy and Fræna. Hustadvika municipality is responsible for the administration of the scheme on behalf of both involved municipalities. Reservations are made for any changes in the duty district during the period.

The responsibility includes all animals, but the scheme is primarily and historically grounded in agriculture and livestock.
The veterinary on-call services will ensure that under municipal/inter-municipal auspices, clinical on-call veterinarian services are available nationwide so that necessary veterinarian help can be acquired outside of regular business hours. The veterinary duty scheme is a necessary part of the stand-by against serious infectious animal diseases and it is important for maintaining good animal welfare.

There is a strong connection between the daily veterinary practise and the duty scheme in Averøy and Hustadvika municipalities. Personnel serving the livestock farming (production animals) with elements of small animals owned by private persons is included in the duty scheme. In this contest, 4 duty contracts will be signed to cover the need for veterinary services included the duty scheme. The combined value of the contract is approx. NOK 3,320,000 for 4 years.

The framework agreement is applicable from 2023 until and including 2025 and with a right for the contracting authority to renew the contract for 1 year.

Tenderers must be authorised veterinarians, have experience from comparable assignments and have their taxes, payroll tax and VAT in order. Tenderers must the language skills necessary for proper professional practices.
