The contract includes the delivery and installation of 5 travelling cranes as described. To be delivered and installed at SINTEF Ocean's new premises in Torgardsvegen 12; four cranes with lifting capacity 1,000 kg, one crane with lifting capacity 10,000 kg. The contract shall also include installation, as well as the necessary equipment and material to achieve a complete integration with the existing travelling crane. This also includes the necessary equipment for controls. Craneways and girders thereof shall also be included in the contract. Even if parts of the system's components are dealt with in this specification, it does not exempt the tenderer from including necessary components to achieve the described functions. It is assumed that the necessary engineering design services related to the delivery and adaptations regarding the nature of the building are carried out by the tenderer. The builder and his advisors are available for clarifications and can provide any supplementary information if required. Several problems must be expected to be resolved and adapted at the construction site. Detailed engineering design must be carried out in consultation with the Builder after contracting.

Any amendments will be managed in accordance with NS 8407. Basis must be prepared for the 'as-built' documentation. Parts of the work must be executed in a limited and relatively short period, which will require sufficient workforce capacity and high priority at the tenderer. The contest is arranged as a turnkey contract (NS 8407). Completion/hand-over of all travelling cranes during April 2023.
