Bærum municipality is in need of nature mapping and assessment of natural species in its work to acquire a holistic overview of natural diversity in the municipality and in specific cases where municipal projects affect natural diversity. Primarily, there will be a need for mapping in accordance with the current recognised methods for mapping of nature on land (terrestrial and fresh water) and at sea, but mapping species will also be applicable in some cases. This includes the assessment of consequences for natural diversity of planned work and construction and installation measures.
