The Consultant shall carry out the internal audit function in it's entirety in accordance with the contract, the board enclosed instructions for internal audits and the tenderer ́s offered plan. The internal auditor will report to the board. The assistance shall contribute to more appropriate and efficient processes for performance management, risk management and internal control. The internal audit is an independent, objective verification and consultancy function, which shall provide value and improve the contracting authority ́s activities. The internal audit shall promote and protect the contracting authority ́s values by giving risk based and objective atteachments, advice and insight. The internal audit is a part of the contracting authority ́s system for management and control. The internal audit shall contribute to providing information on whether systems and routines for internal management and control at the customer are adapted to risk and significantness and complied with, and ensure that the company is operated in accordance with the basic management principles for government entities.
