Kristiansand municipality would like to enter into a framework agreement for the procurement/delivery of toys, games and art materials for the area Education in Kristiansand municipality. The Education area in Kristiansand municipality comprises many different entities. This framework agreement is obligatory for, and primarily aimed at, kindergartens, schools and before-and-after-school care. As an exception, it may be relevant for other areas in the municipality to place an order under the contract. The table below states which categories shall be included in the framework agreement: Construction set Games Dollhouses, dolls and accessories Toy animals Toy kitchen and accompanying equipment Sensory toys Other toys for toddlers and children Colour pencils and crayons Writing pencils and drawing pencils Marker Pencil sharpeners Cardboard and paper Paint and accessories Paint and print Pearls and accessories Clay and accessories Adhesive paste Glue and tape Sewing accessories (includes sewing machine Decoration Textiles Yarn Stickers Scissors and cutting products Scooter/Walking bike/Running bike Tricycle Sportsequipment for toddlers and children, e.g. football, handball, table tennis racket etc. Music equipment for toddlers and children, e.g. recorder, rhythm instruments etc. Many different products are expected to be requested and the requested quantity will vary. Some products can be requested continuously throughout the entire contract period, whilst other products may have a more seasonal demand. In addition trends and fluctuations in the market can otherwise affect the demand for products.

The contracting authority has received a request to extend the tender deadline due to, among other things, that there is many ongoing competitions within the area of this relevant competition, as well as holidays during Christmas. Based on the above, the contracting authority considers it appropriate to extend the tender deadline. As the tender deadline has been extended, the deadline for asking questions has also been extended. In addition an update has been made of the time frame for the process and deadlines regarding product samples - see the document "Tender Documentation - Framework Agreement - Toys, games and art materials" point 2.3 and point 2.4. See also point 1.6 in the document "Tender Documentation - Framework Agreement - Toys, Games and Art Materials" and point 4 in Annex 03 - Contract Document, stating, among other things, that the contracting authority wishes that the contract starts in March 2024. The contracting authority still wishes that the contract can start in March 2024, but as a result of the tender deadline being extended, the contracting authority expects that it could be relevant to start the agreement in April 2024.

The contracting authority has uploaded an updated version of Annex 01 - Standard Contract Terms - Product Procurement. An old version of this document was wrongly uploaded and only point 2.17 in this document has been updated. A minor correction of typos has been made in point 2.3 in the document "Tender Documentation - Framework Agreement - Toys, games and art materials". In conclusion the contracting authority draws attention to the fact that a process has started that can lead to Kristiansand municipality being split up into two or three new municipalities. As a result of this, point 1.1 in the document "Tender Documentation - Framework Agreement - Toys, Games and Art Materials" has been updated.
